How to..... Create your own multicoloured flowers in a few easy steps!

1) Start off with some white flowers, in this case I am using Daffodils. *Roses are the best to use.

2) Purchase or raid your pantry for your food dyes

3) Cut the stem in 4 (if using 4 dyes) with a knife, be careful not to cut yourself! *This may need some practice. The length should be enough to get each stem into the food dye.

4) Mix a little bit of food dye with water, 1 colour per glass, in this case I'm using shot glasses. You could even mix dyes to get the colours you are after.

5) Place the stems into the food dye/water mixture.

6) WAIT......

7) Depending on the flower you may see some changes after 3 hours or longer.... I had changed the colours about half way through to mix things up a little, but you can leave it in the same colours for the whole time. Every time you will get a different result!

8) After 15 hours in this case this is the final result!
